- Does a Dermalift Microface Intense treatment hurt?
No, microcurrent uses such a low energy to gain the best effects, it is for many without any sensation. Most people will feel a slight tingle or prickling sensation, but it should never hurt.
- How much does a Microface Intense lifting treatment cost in consumables?
The average cost is around £3.50.
- How does Diamond Dermabrasion differ from Crystal Microdermabrasion?
Both diamond and crystal will gain similar results for your clients, the difference is simply preference on the operative and client’s part. Many clients find that Crystal Microdermabrasion offers a slightly deeper peel, giving slightly faster results for their concerns. Diamond Dermabrasion uses medical grade diamond grit tip head to exfoliate the skin, which some clients prefer the sensation of the grit head.
- How long do the diamond heads for Diamond Dermabrasion last?
Around 35 treatments for each head, that gives you around 270 treatments with the heads provided.
- Can I use other Silhouette devices with the Microneedling Pen?
Yes, it is perfectly partnered with our Genesis machine (ultrasound and light therapy) to be used after the treatment to soothe the skin and assist healing. Microneedling and Radio Frequency work amazingly together providing maximum result too. Doing the Radio Frequency before the microneedling is a far less painless treatment than using a combined RF/Microneedling machine which uses hot needles! You can also further combine and use a light chemical peel immediately after the Microneedling treatment.
- How does the RF Trio differ to other models available?
The RF Trio not only utilises radio frequency technology but also polychromatic light therapy and mechanical vacuum suction to enhance and further the results from your treatments. Light therapy is proven to stimulate the healing process further and give you the highest possible collagen synthesis from a single treatment. Whilst drainage via mechanical vacuum suction reduces puffiness in the dermal tissues. This leads to better toning and a contouring effect, it is also a great assistant in the reduction of cellulite!
- How does the RF Trio machine actually work?
The driving force behind RF Trio is radio frequency. Radio frequency stimulates your body’s natural healing abilities, tightening and realigning elastin fibres while stimulating the production of new collagen. - How does Dermalite IPL work?
IPL is Intense Pulsed Light therapy. Simply, it means that an Intense Light is Pulsed into the skin to perform various skin treatments, including hair removal, and photorejuvenation. The method behind IPL is selective photothermolysis. This means that the light (photo) selects a target, heats it up (thermo) and destroys it (lysis). It provides a safe, convenient, and valuable solution for unwanted hair, acne, rosacea, wrinkles, thread veins, etc.

The DERMALITE offers a safe, and quick treatment. The cryo aesthetic effect allows for a mild discomfort. The intensity can be lowered for more sensitive areas. The first treatment is usually the “zingiest.” Each pulse of light feels like a slight sting or pinch and is often described as a “flick of an elastic band”. Most clients describe the treatment as moderate and tolerable and return for more treatments.
