Make 2022 Your Best Business Year Yet!
SPLIT THE YEAR UP AND PLAN, PLAN, PLAN
Look at your year ahead, split it in half or quarterly and set business goals. The best way to grow your business is to write all your goals down. Make sure to check in with yourself/employees regularly to make sure things are panning out the way you planned.
Maybe you want to increase your younger clientele. Do you have treatments that target younger skin concerns? Are you utilising social media platforms? Could you offer a discount to students?
Here’s an example of a quarterly plan:
MARCH
Post 3 times a week to social media. Increase following by 200, minimum of 50 likes per post.
JUNE
Improve/add more treatments that help younger skin concerns. Build up before and after portfolio and get 5 recommendations.
SEPTEMBER
Create and circulate student discount code via email, text, social media. Get at least 10 students booked in for treatments.
DECEMBER
Create a graduate pamper ‘get ready for the big day’ offer. Book at least 5 graduates in for treatments. Increase social media following by at least 500 by year-end and have a total of 20 repeat customers.
CREATE A NEW YEAR OFFER
We’ve all heard and maybe tried gym memberships, dry January and other new year resolutions a like but what about the gym membership for the face?! If you have our Dermalift Microface Intense machine, then a great way to market treatments especially for the New Year is the Facial Gym Membership! Microcurrent therapy delivers tiny electrical pulses that mirror the body’s own natural bioelectrical field. The whole treatment will lift, tone and hydrate. It’s our non-surgical face lift and a perfect way to make your clients feel rejuvenated after the festive season. Why not have a block booking offer, book 10 and get a session for free.
SPRUCE UP THE SALON
Without spending hardly any money if any at all you can change up the look of your salon. Invite customers into a new layout via simply changing the position of some furniture. Add in some new details, a plant, a shelf with products, a mirror. A simple change can lighten up a corner, add some detail to a blank wall space and can draw the eye around your newly styled salon.
WISH YOUR CLIENTS A HAPPY NEW YEAR
A quick text, email, social media message to your clients is both a friendly greeting and acts as a reminder. Include a discount or information on treatments along with your wishes. They might be meaning to book an appointment and your New Year message has just reminded them.
START A MEMBERSHIP SCHEME
In a membership scheme client’s pay a monthly fee via standing order on the first day of the month. Minimum signup time is usually six months. In return, they will receive a free mini treatment each month. Perhaps an eyebrow shape or tint and get a little more to spend within the salon.
For example, 3 levels of memberships could be:
SILVER – pay £25 per month and get £30 to spend
GOLD – pay 50 per month get £60 to spend
PLATINUM – pay £100 per month and get £125 to spend
Not only does this tie the client in like a gym membership it increases their loyalty to the salon/business. They can also set their monthly treatment budget and you get a guaranteed income from day one of the month!
You can also offer nice incentives such as a quarterly prize draw on the higher/highest membership levels.
