The Technology
Since the 1970’s microcurrent has been used to help pain relief and even facial paralysis conditions, such as Bell’s palsy. Decades later microcurrent is still extremely popular and an essential non-surgical treatment option to offer in your beauty business.
Microcurrent works with low levels of electrical current which are passed through the skin to stimulate the Golgi tendon organ (the area responsible for muscle tone and tightness). Used with a range of probes and specific moves to elongate or shorten muscle fibres, microcurrent returns the muscle to its original placement. This is useful for lifting sagging muscles on the face and body such as, around the jawline, thighs and the tummy area or for relaxing tightened muscles, such as those which yield crows feet or frown lines. Microcurrent also has a positive effect on the cellular ATP (adenosine triphosphate) giving more energy for renewal and growth.
The Advanced Dermalift Lymphatic Activation (ADLA) program allows you to address areas with excess water retention, such as dark circles under the eyes caused by fluid buildup, the jawline and chin, as well as congested skin. Dermafusion is an advanced, intensive mask therapy that utilises skin specific ingredients to address a variety of skin concerns and conditions. By harnessing the power of microcurrent technology, the treatment drives active ingredients deep into the skin in a comfortable and relaxing manner, enhancing their effectiveness.
Faradic treatments, also known as electrical muscle stimulation (EMS), are used to tone and tighten the muscles of the body. This treatment delivers a current to stimulate the muscle to provide a smooth contraction at regular intervals. This will have the effect of strengthening and toning lax muscle tissue, also aiding the removal of waste products, which in turn, can encourage slimming and inch loss. This service is carried out while the client lies comfortably on the couch, without causing an increase in heart rate, so is ideal for those who are unable to partake in regular strength exercise.

These Dermalift Intense + Body projected figures are based purely on selling four facial and four body courses a month. A course costs £560 and includes eight treatments total. Treatments can be fortnightly or monthly. Figures are only a guide and costings are based on the purchase price of £3,900 +VAT.
