Course Overview

Our Electrolysis Hair Removal Training Course is designed to equip beauty professionals with the advanced skills necessary for successful hair removal techniques. This blended learning program requires home study prior to our immersive one day practical training session. Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge of electrolysis procedures, including preparation, application, and aftercare. On the training day, equipment will be provided for hands-on practice, allowing you to work on models as well as practice on each other. Should you prefer not to receive treatment, please inform us in advance, and we will arrange a model for you. Throughout the training, your trainer will share tips on how to incorporate electrolysis into your existing salon services to enhance your treatment offerings. Following your one day training, we will require three case studies to be submitted within twelve weeks of your training date for you to complete your training and for us to issue your certificate. All Silhouette trainers possess essential teaching credentials, hold a beauty qualification at level 3 or higher, and have extensive experience in running their own beauty businesses.

Prerequisites	Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology with a recognised beauty qualification like Level 2 NVQ, ITEC, C & G qualification, facial electrical qualification or be a practising medical professional i.e tattoo artist, plasma tech, permanent cosmetics or injectables (Botox/fillers). Prior knowledge of skin treatments and Anatomy & Physiology is a must, if you require an A&P qualification or a Level 2 Electrical Facial qualification, we can provide this. On the Day	• Please attend training in your tunics/scrubs or you salon uniform • During training long hair should be tied back • If you require glasses, please make sure to bring them on the day of training • Past students have invested in magnified glasses • Groups are kept small (up to a maximum of 4) • There will be plenty of practical time with models as well as each other (unless you have opted out of treatment) • Home study is required before you attend the course, home study information will be emailed to you after payment • Snacks and refreshments are provided • A fridge, microwave and kettle are available for your packed lunch needs • Training manuals and equipment will be provided • Starter kits are available to purchase on the day • Our academy is on the first floor, stair access only • Parking is available on site, and Timperley Metrolink is just a short 7-minute walk away • SPAR is a 5-minute walk away should you need to buy lunch on route • If you require extra support during training, please don’t hesitate and get in touch beforehand so we can accommodate
