The Technology
The Dermalite IPL system is a medically registered device that uses advanced Intense Pulsed Light technology and specialised treatment filters to address a wide range of skin concerns, including pigmentation, vascular lesions, uneven skin tone, and visible signs of ageing and acne treatments.
Precisely controlled wavelengths of light are delivered into the skin, where they are selectively absorbed by target chromophores. Pigmented lesions absorb the light energy, allowing the body to naturally eliminate damaged tissue, while vascular concerns are treated through the targeted absorption of light by haemoglobin, leading to the gradual clearance of unwanted vessels. The controlled thermal response also stimulates collagen production and cellular renewal, helping to improve skin texture, tone, and overall skin quality.
In addition to its advanced skin treatment capabilities, Dermalite features integrated SHR (Super Hair Removal) technology for safe, comfortable, and effective long-term hair reduction.
With an extensive range of pre-set treatment parameters and advanced cooling technology, Dermalite enables highly customised treatments while maximising client comfort and delivering consistent clinical results.

For hair removal, we recommend a course of one treatment every 4 weeks for a total of 6-12 sessions, depending on individual hair growth factors. Maintenance sessions may be necessary every 6-12 months, considering variables such as hormonal changes.
For treatments targeting pigmentation, acne, and skin rejuvenation, we advise sessions every 2 to 6 weeks, followed by regular maintenance as needed.
