Course Overview

Our microneedling training course is designed to equip beauty therapists with advanced skills in microneedling, a cutting-edge technique for skin rejuvenation. The course covers in-depth knowledge of microneedling procedures, including preparation, application and aftercare. Students will be provided with equipment to use on the day. Hands on practical work will be delivered via an automated pen on models as well as on each other. If you do not wish to have treatment on the day, please let us know beforehand, and a model will be provided. The device used during training will be the Silhouette Microneedling Pen and your trainer will provide tips on how to combine microneedling with other salon services that you may already offer, such as microcurrent, radio frequency and skin peels. Silhouette trainers hold a beauty qualification to level 3 or above and have previous experience of running their own beauty businesses.

Additional information

Prerequisites	Participants are required to have a Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification and anatomy and physiology. Prior knowledge of skin treatments and anatomy is beneficial, if you require a Level 2 Electrical Facial qualification, we can provide this.
On the Day	• Please attend training in your tunics/scrubs or you salon uniform • During training long hair should be tied back • Groups are kept small (up to a maximum of 6) • There will be plenty of practical time with models as well as each other (unless you have opted out of treatment) • No pre-course materials are necessary • Snacks and refreshments are provided • A fridge, microwave and kettle are available for your packed lunch needs • Training manuals and equipment will be provided • Starter kits are available to purchase on the day • Our academy is on the first floor, stair access only • Parking is available on site, and Timperley Metrolink is just a short 7-minute walk away • SPAR is a 5-minute walk away should you need to buy lunch on route • If you require extra support during training, please don’t hesitate and get in touch beforehand so we can accommodate
