Silhouette Microneedling Pen
Kickstart the skin’s healing abilities with collagen induction therapy, aka Microneedling. With the Silhouette Microneedling Pen you’ll be able to treat a range of your client’s skin concerns from: wrinkles, scarring, stretch marks, pigmentation and stimulate hair growth.
The Silhouette Microneedling Pen works with interchangeable, sterilised needle cartridges which penetrate the skin. The Microneedling Pen includes 5 levels of speed and an LED Light Therapy option. Also, includes a treatment starter kit with two cartridges.
During treatment, the device consisting of tiny needles is carefully moved over areas of the skin. The result of this action provides increased production of collagen, elastin and skin cells which leads to the improvement of the skin. LED Light Therapy is a skin rejuvenation treatment that exposes skin to different wavelengths of visible light to address a variety of skin conditions and boost the overall radiance of the skin.

Who can I offer Microneedling to?
Most age groups and skin colours from light to dark can be treated, providing they are not contraindicated with recent cancer, uncontrolled diabetes, heart problems, epilepsy, hypertrophic/keloid scarring, pregnancy. Please refer to the list in our instruction manual for all major contraindications. This treatment is particularly effective on dark skin and less likely to cause hyperpigmentation and scarring than laser or a chemical peel could.

How much can I charge for a microneedling facial?
Prices vary according to your experience, whether you are medically trained or an experienced therapist. The minimum charge would be £100 to £250 for the face and neck area, taking approximately 30 minutes. Other treatments such as an applied mask or LED therapy can be added on, and the price increased accordingly.
How often will my clients return for repeat facials?
Ranging from a course of 4 sessions for general skin rejuvenation, and up to 6 to 8 treatments for acne scars or stretch marks, depending on their severity. Each session would be 6 weeks apart.
Can I use other Silhouette devices with the Microneedling Pen?
Yes, it is perfectly partnered with our Ultrasound and Light Therapy machine to be used after the treatment to soothe the skin and assist healing. Microneedling and Radio Frequency work amazingly together providing maximum result too. Doing the Radio Frequency before the microneedling is a far less painless treatment than using a combined RF/Microneedling machine which uses hot needles! You can also combine using a light chemical peel immediately after the Microneedling treatment.
